Made of birch.

Very stable arquate wooden slats 15 pieces of 63 x 8 mm birch slats.
The centre of the slats is approx. 3.5 cm higher due to the curve.
The individual planks are stapled to the webbing.
3 planks are drilled for fixing to the bed (screws are not included). 

Normal rigid boards are made of straight cut wood (mainly coniferous). Sometimes the stability of either plank can be adversely affected by rough cuts or knots present.
These curved slats are more stable due to the birch plywood without cuts and knots, and the curved shape has an elastic effect on weight distribution and is comfortable at the same time.

Slats from a width of 120 cm upwards must be supported in the middle.
